Christmas comes early
After receiving an email from Phil in Sedgley about a young woman called Yvette who has been given a few days to live due to cancer, Fresh and Jo decided to bring Christmas early to the family and her 8 year old son Kai.
Within minutes of reading out the story the phones didn't stop ringing with donations and offers of help from turkeys to money.
Throughout the morning Christmas Day arrived in Sedgley as Fresh and Jo with the help of Santa and some snow helped make make the daythe best for them and also give them something to remember.

(05/12/2009 17:28:41) I listened to the story on my way to work on Thursday. As I listened the tears poured down my face.... what a truly sad situation. I am so inspired by such kind people who helped to make a lasting memory for the family. Then once again on Friday I listened and heard the tragic news , once again tears poured down my face. My thoughts are with all the family and friends , she was obviously very well loved and long may her spirit live on . God Bless. |
