It is reccomended that first step for a woman who thinks she may be pregnant (whether considering abortion or not) is to visit their GP who can confirm the pregnancy and check the health of the woman herself, discuss options and provide related health advice. If abortion is being considered the doctor has the right to express their opposition but should refer you to another doctor who is prepared to help.
