Take that tribute band "Beautiful Circus" are performing tonight, to help raise money for the Kian Collins Trust Fund.

An exciting new collaboration between Shropshire Visual Art Network and Made in Shropshire has led to the setting up of a creative art and design enterprise at the top of Pride Hill in Shrewsbury. The venue, which was formerly the old Burger King shop, has been transformed through the drive and imagination of local artists and designers and is supported by the Shropshire Council, local area partnership using the empty spaces Government Scheme. The shop will stock "Made in Shropshire" merchandise including jewellery, ceramics and prints.
The shop will be officially opened on Tuesday, 3rd November. Come and feast your eyes on Shropshire goods and get inspired.

We are a new drama group that wants to bring the thrills of the theatre to the commmunity. We run every Thursday night at Wodensborough High School in Wednesbury. We are current rehearsing for a singing show and are about to audition for parts in Beauty and The Beast. However, we need new memebers, ages from 5 - 105 men and women, everyone is welcome!
Sweeney Todd (Theatre)

Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, is the production of choice from Simon Talbot and his team from Shrewsbury Sixth Form College.
The music and lyrics are by Stephen Sondheim and this student edition has been adapted, working directly with Mr. Sondheim, to retain the dark wit and grand scope of the original work, with a few lyric and key changes.
It is described as ‘Sophisticated, macabre, visceral and uncompromising. Nevertheless having a great sense of fun, with intense drama being mixed with howlingly funny moments of dark humour: audiences will find themselves laughing hysterically one moment and gasping in surprise the next.’
Based at the Ashton Theatre, Shrewsbury School, the performances start on Wednesday 31st and run until Saturday 3rd April. Tickets are available from boxoffice@ssfc.ac.uk; 01743 266803 or by calling at the College and are priced £10 (£7.50 for concessions - 16’s and under and senior citizens).
